New projects
The American internet giant has unveiled new wind and solar projects in the United States, Canada, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, an initiative that will allow it to acquire a new dimension in the sector. Amazon’s projects are intended to supply electricity to its offices, logistics centers, supermarkets, etc.

With all of its projects, Amazon will become the largest buyer of renewable energy in Europe, with a purchasing volume representing the equivalent of more than two million European homes supplied each year.
The internet giant now says it expects 100% of its business to run on renewable energy by 2025, five years ahead of its initial target.
